Caernarfon

Home to one of Wales’s most famous castles Caernarfon is perfect for a half-term stop. Enjoy stunning views of the Menai Strait from the castle build by Edward I and imagine what Royal life was like in the 13th Century. Caernarfon promises a memorable experience for all ages. You can reach Caernarfon on either the T22 or T2 Traws services.

Hay on Wye

Spanning the England/Wales border Hay on Wye is world renowned for its bookshops, but that’s not all that can be discovered. Our T14 service drops you right in the centre of town ready to spend the afternoon searching through the bookshops for your favourite writers or why not see if you can find the gold post box painted to honour local resident, Paralympian Josie Pearson for her 2012 gold medal.

Llangollen

Part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site Llangollen is packed full of interesting historical attractions. Take a trip back in time on the Llangollen Steam Railway riding in a 1950’s carriage. The railway runs alongside the River Dee a Site of Special Scientific Interest, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Why not take a stop whilst you’re travelling on our T3 service.

Abergavenny Castle

Hop off the Traws Cymru Connect X43 service at Abergavenny, with its magical castles, and beautiful parks for playtime, kids will have a blast exploring. The town's family-friendly festivals and markets offer fun activities.
