Head to MOMA Machynlleth (The Museum of Modern Art) for a taste of contemporary Welsh culture. Celebrating local and international artists in a converted chapel, browse their current exhibitions and see what’s on when you visit.
Further into town is the Owain Glyndwr Centre, both a walking museum and a community hub. Attracting both established stars and up-and-coming comedians, its cult popularity sees thousands of visitors visiting Machynlleth every May.
