Catch the bus straight to the Eisteddfod

Heading to the Eisteddfod this summer? You can get there on the T5.
We’re increasing the frequency of our T5 bus service between Cardigan and Fishguard for the 8 days of the Eisteddfod. This means you can travel there safely, easily and enjoy your day to the full.
Forget worrying about directions, road rage and spending an hour queuing to leave the carpark. Simply purchase our Eisteddfod Day Ticket and hop on the T5 bus which will take you directly to the Eisteddfod. The Eisteddfod bus tickets will also be valid for travel on the 430 and 460 bus services.
What is the Eisteddfod?
The Eisteddfod is the biggest touring festival in Europe. This year is it’s 850th birthday and will be celebrated in Llantwd, the heart of north Pembrokeshire.
Across the week of celebrations, you can enjoy Welsh performances from writers, musicians, poets, dance competitions, and choirs. Carrying on the fun into the night, you’ll find the best of Welsh music at Maes B - rock, indie, hip-hop, DJ’s and more.

How can I get there?
Our T5 bus service will take you to directly to the Eisteddfod, providing affordable and sustainable travel. It will operate an hourly frequency between Cardigan and Fishguard from 1-8 August for the Eisteddfod. You can also hop on the 430 and 460 bus services to get to the Eisteddfod.
How much are the Eisteddfod bus tickets?
- Eisteddfod Day ticket - £6
- Eisteddfod Family Day ticket - £10 (2 adults + 3 children)
These tickets can be purchased digitally via our TrawsCymru app, or physically on board our T5 bus, and the 430 and 460 bus services. The tickets will be valid for the whole route and aren’t limited to/from the Eisteddfod.

- The Eisteddfod bus tickets do not include entry to the Eisteddfod; they are only valid for your bus travel to and from there
- Valid up to the last service on the day of purchase/activation including T5, 430 & 460
- The increased frequency of the T5 buses is only between Cardigan and Fishguard from 1 to 8 August 2026
- The Eisteddfod tickets are only valid from 01 to 08 August 2026
- The app ticket activation expiry is 02:00 on 9 August
- The Eisteddfod Day and Family Day Tickets are valid for travel on the day they are purchased. If purchased on the TrawsCymru app, they’ll be valid for 24 hours
