Ruthin
Is fairytale charm your idea of a great day out? Look no further than the town of Ruthin, nestled in the Northeast of Wales. From the quaint Tudor townhouse to the ghost of Lady Grey in Ruthin Castle, uncover centuries of history on your travels. On the castle grounds are the beautiful Italian Gardens, inviting you to step back in time. Head back to the town for a bite to eat, where you’ll find a range of local restaurants and pubs to explore.
St Asaph Cathedral
Situated in the UK’s second smallest city is St Asaph Cathedral. Learn about the institute’s history, where prayers have been offered daily for over 1,400 years. Pop into the on-site Translator’s Tearoom, where light lunch and afternoon tea can be enjoyed.
