Popty’r Dref
Tucked away in a small side street is acclaimed bakery Popty’r Dref – a must-see when visiting Dolgellau. With a shop window filled with custard slices, currant buns and iconic honey buns, you can’t resist the temptation to pop in.

Brimming with sweet treats, you’re spoilt for choice. With classics like a coffee and walnut slice to special bakes like kinder bueno brownies, it’s impossible to leave Popty’r Dref empty handed. If you’d prefer a meal, choose from one of their classic specials like cottage pie or bolognese.
