T2 Bus Service to resume in Trawsfynydd
Transport for Wales, in partnership with Lloyds Coaches, is pleased to announce that the T2 bus service will resume serving Trawsfynydd from the 15th of September following the completion of recent roadworks in the area.
While we’re delighted to restore this important connection, we remain concerned about ongoing parking issues in the village. In the past, poorly parked vehicles have caused serious difficulties and safety risks for the bus travelling through Trawsfynydd. To ensure the service can operate safely and reliably we ask for your co-operation in always keeping the road through the village clear and accessible. We will be closely monitoring the situation and will continue to work with local partners to assess the impact.
Passenger Safety Reminder
Please be aware that the T2 service will not drop off or pick up passengers on the A470 under any circumstances. All passengers must use the designated bus stops within the village. A full risk assessment has been carried out to support this decision.
If parking problems persist, we may be forced to withdraw the service from Trawsfynydd. This would be a last resort to protect the safety of passengers, drivers, and vehicles. Inconsiderate parking not only affects those travelling to and from Trawsfynydd - it can also disrupt the wider service if the bus becomes stuck or involved in an incident.
We appreciate the community’s understanding and cooperation as we work to maintain safe, reliable, and accessible public transport for all.
