We’re thrilled to share that personalised travel updates are available on our app.
For thousands of us in Wales, bus travel is an essential part of daily life. Whether you’re commuting, going shopping or visiting friends, providing you with travel updates for TrawsCymru services is crucial to aid a smoother journey.
Despite our best efforts to make journeys as smooth as possible, unplanned disruptions can arise that are out of our control. When these disruptions occur, it’s important that we can communicate them to you as efficiently as possible. Push notification-based personalised travel updates can help us do this and put you, the customer, first. So, how can this benefit you and your travel?
- Information will be tailored to you and the journey you’re making
- Travel updates will be relevant to your local area
- Journey planning will become more efficient - you can plan around any disruptions
- You’ll receive communications in a clear, transparent way
- Updates will be sent straight to your phone rather than having to look on different social channels
To get push notifications, follow these steps:
- Open the TrawsCymru app and click on the menu (3 lines in the top left)
- Select Timetables to find the bus stop or service you want updates for
- Click on the star in the right hand corner of the page. This will favourite the service. Select a bus stop and click the star again to favourite a specific stop.
Alert notifications will then be sent when an unplanned disruption is created, providing you with details to keep your journey informed.
