Check out our list below to see what events are on across Wales and let us be your sleigh for the season.

 

Fishguard

Saturday 13 December 2025

Wreath-making is the perfect activity to get you in the festive spirit. Head to the Manor Town House for a 3-hour wreath-making workshop with Flowers by Annabelle, using stunning seasonal blooms.

The exciting Christmas parade returns to Dolgellau. Featuring tractors with lights, this is a popular community event that will get you into the festive spirit and raises money for two charities.

Swansea Christmas Market

Swansea Christmas Market returns, the perfect place to embrace the festivities. Whether you’re visiting the Carollers Cabin for musical entertainment or having a cosy drink at the Bavarian Bar, this is a great spot for a festive day out.

Santa Dash, Chester

Sunday 7 December 2025

Join thousands of Santa’s at Chester’s 14th Santa Dash. This event brings the community together and raises money for two local charities, bringing true festive spirit to everyone involved.

Ruthin

Saturday 29 November 2025

Visit the UK’s biggest handmade market in Ruthin. Spread across 6 historical sites, there are over 150 stalls to explore. From handmade arts and crafts to delicious food and drink, this is the perfect place to shop local and discover festive treasures.

Entry is free, so bring the whole family to enjoy the magical atmosphere.

Welsh Highland Railway Santa Trains, Porthmadog

Running from Saturday 6 December 2025 on selected dates

Experience classic festive magic on the Welsh Highland Railway Santa Trains. Santa’s Christmas Carriage Grotto will also be available to visit in Harbour Station, bringing joy to all passengers. Perfect for families, this offers a magical day out.

Vale of Rheidol Railway Museum, Aberystwyth

Saturday 13 - Sunday 14 December, and Wednesday 17 - Tuesday 23 December 2025

A brand-new festive adventure is coming to Aberystwyth this December. Set against the magical backdrop of the Vale of Rheidol Railway Museum is the Ticket to Christmas, an immersive indoor event.

Check in at the North Pole Passport Office, receive an elf name and let the adventure begin. From Claus’s Kitchen to Santa’s Grotto, this event offers an unforgettable experience.

Bristol Christmas Markets
