Make the most of your summer and get out and about by bus. From Bangor to Aberaeron, there’s plenty of fun days out to choose from, and with our group ticket you can travel with others for less on services T1, T2, T3, T6, T10 and T22. Zip World, Penrhyn Quarry
Soar through the sky this summer at Zip World. Offering spectacular views, world-class zip lines and 5 different adventures to choose from, there’s something for the whole family to get involved in. From speedy zip lines to go karting along the UK’s only cart track and historic quarry tours, this is a summer trip that you won’t be forgetting soon. If you’re feeling peckish afterwards, head to the bistro restaurant to enjoy a well-deserved meal.
Catch the T10 and get off at Bodforis, where you can walk to Zip World in under 15 minutes.

Criccieth Castle, Criccieth
Rich with royal history, Criccieth Castle is a great place to visit with the family this summer. You can’t miss the rocky outline of the ruins as you wander along the coastline. Offering beautiful views of Cardigan Bay, the castle is steeped in medieval stories. Learn about the famous Owain Glyndwr and the Welsh princes that came before him.
Once you’ve explored the castle ruins, head down to the beautiful Criccieth Beach below. Treat yourself to a picnic and a dip in the sea.
Hop on the T2 which runs through Criccieth, where you’ll be just under a 10-minute walk from Criccieth Castle.

Bala Watersports, Bala
Want to make the most of the summer sun? Head to Bala Watersports.
From white water rafting to abseiling, Bala Watersports provides something for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced adventurer. Experience the great outdoors and the beautiful scenery that this pocket of North Wales has to offer.
Get off the T3 or T3C at the Leisure Centre, where Bala Watersports is around 10 minutes away on foot.

Aberaeron
Spending some of the summer in West Wales? Head down to the picturesque Aberaeron.
A quaint harbour, fresh seafood and dolphin spotting awaits you when visiting this coastal town. If you’d like to go further afield, head to Llanerchaeron, a Georgian estate that is part of the National Trust. There, you can explore the villa, visit the friendly farmland animals, and discover the grassy mazes that are perfect for a family day out.
The T1 and T5 stops at Alban Square in Aberaeron, a great base to start your exploring. If you want to head to Llanerchaeron, the T1 stops at New Inn Forge, which is just under a mile from the estate.

Xplore Science Discovery Centre, Wrexham
Looking for something to do on a rainy summers' day? Head to Xplore Science Discovery Centre!
Small but mighty, this science museum is packed with interactive activities that will entertain the whole family. From volcanoes and dinosaurs to a live science show, there are over 85 exhibits to enjoy.
Xplore is open from Friday - Sunday, 09:30 - 16:30. Book ahead to secure your tickets.
The T3, T3C and T12 stop around a 10-minute walk away from Xplore.

Hay-on-Wye
Spend a day in the quaint town of Haye-on-Wye this summer. Known as ‘the town of books’ Hay-on-Wye is a bookworms dream, with over 40 bookshops to explore.
If you’d rather something a little more adventurous, why not hire a canoe? Perfect for a summer’s day, drift along the River Wye and experience its natural beauty.
Hop on the T14 and get off at the Clock Tower, where you’ll be able to explore the independent shops. From there, you can walk just 15 minutes to the canoe hire.

Brecon Canal Walk
Nothing beats the summer stroll that awaits you along the Brecon Canal Walk.
Wander along the canal where you can experience the range of wildlife, from red kites to dragonflies. Hop on a boat trip and unwind as you explore the canal and local heritage. Pop into one of the many delicious cafes on the canal side to round off your trip.
The T4, T6 and T14 drops you off just a few minutes' walk from the Brecon Canal Basin.
