Changes to our fares

We’re making some changes to our fares from 1 February 2026.

Instead of tickets for individual routes, we’re changing our day, week and monthly tickets so you can travel on multiple services using the same ticket. These tickets will be valid on services T1, T1A, T1X,  T2, T3, T3C, T4, T5, T6, T8, T10, T22, T28 and T1C between Carmarthen and Aberystwyth. 

Please note, fares on services T7, T11 and T51 will not be changing.

Day tickets

We’re reducing the price of our TrawsCymru day ticket to £7 for adults and removing day tickets for the individual routes listed above. This means you'll be able to travel on multiple TrawsCymru routes for £7, which is the same price as many of our current route specific day tickets. In short, you'll be able to get more travel out of your ticket for no extra cost. In addition to this, day tickets purchased on the app will be valid for 24 hours from activation instead of until the end of service. So, if you’re going out for a meal in the evening, you can hop on the bus using the same ticket the following morning, offering you a more flexible ticket. 

You can also buy bundles of 5-day tickets on our app for £30, saving £5 compared to buying the tickets individually.

Child and 16-21 mytravelpass day tickets will still be sold for £3 and can be used with multiple operators in Wales. The duration of these tickets will not change, and they will be valid until the end of service on the day they are activated.

Journeys between Aberystwyth and Aberaeron

Our Aberystwyth <> Aberaeron day tickets will also be valid for 24 hours on the app from 1 February 2026 and will still be available for £4. Tickets purchased on the bus will only be valid until the end of service on the day of purchase.

T1C

Day tickets will increase to £15 for the full T1C route. These tickets will remain valid until the end of service on the day the ticket is activated or bought on board the bus. 

Week tickets

Just like our day ticket, our new week ticket means you can enjoy 7 consecutive days of unlimited travel on multiple routes. This applies to services T1, T1A, T1X,  T2, T3, T3C, T4, T5, T6, T8, T10, T22, T28 and T1C between Carmarthen and Aberystwyth. Week tickets are just £22 for adults or £16.50 for children and those between 16-21 with a mytravelpass.  Tickets will be valid until the end of service on the 7th day.

Monthly tickets

Our monthly ticket is valid for 28 consecutive days on services T1, T1A, T1X,  T2, T3, T3C, T4, T5, T6, T8, T10, T22, T28 and T1C between Carmarthen and Aberystwyth. You can buy a monthly ticket for just £80 for adults or £53 for children and 16-21 year olds with a mytravelpass. Tickets will be valid until the end of service on the 28th day.

New tickets

TrawsCambria day ticket

Perfect for exploring West Wales’ coastline, our TrawsCambria day ticket is valid along the Cambrian Coast between Cardigan and Barmouth on services T1, T2/T28, T3/T3C and T5. Buy yours for just £6.50.

Powys Rover day ticket

Regional Powys Rover day tickets will be available on our app and on bus. These will be available for Powys North, Mid or South zones for £7 each. The zones are:

Montgomeryshire Plus (North Zone)
Radnorshire Plus (Mid Zone)
Brecknockshire Plus (South Zone)

Alternatively, the Powys Rover Day Ticket for every zone is just £9 for an adult and £6* for a child (or young person aged 16-21 with a mytravelpass). It gives you unlimited travel on participating bus services, including our T2 (between Dyfi Wildlife Centre and Machynlleth), T4 and T6 services, for the whole day. This means that you can break your journey whenever and wherever you like.
